Dog Ear was founded in 2004 by three traditional publishing veterans with over 50 years of collective experience in book packaging, retail buying, graphic design, printing, and acquisitions. Their operation is notable for its openness regarding pricing and what’s included. (Some companies are, intentionally or not, more obscure in this way.) But most noteworthy is their website including an easy-to-use tool that compares pricing and services between Dog Ear and other subsidy publishers. For more info, go to www.DogEarPublishing.net.
